Delete your account and data

My Facility CMMS is a facility maintenance management service operated by Sysemall, LLC. Companies use it to manage equipment, work orders, inspections, inventory and maintenance records. This page explains how to delete your account and your company’s data, what is deleted, and what is kept.

Who can delete what

• The account owner — the person who created the company — can delete the whole company account in the app. That deletes all of the company’s data and every login on it, including the owner’s.
• Other team members can have their own login deleted by asking their account owner or a Manager to remove them (Users → Remove), or by emailing us using the steps below.

Delete in the app

1. Sign in to My Facility CMMS as the account owner.
2. Open Settings at the top of the left-hand menu, next to your company name.
3. Under Danger zone, choose Delete company account.
4. Review the list of what will be deleted, type your company name, enter your password, and choose Delete company permanently.

If your free trial or subscription has ended, the Subscription inactive screen you see after signing in has a Delete this company account instead link that opens the same steps.

Request deletion by email

Email facilitycmmssupport@gmail.com to request deletion of your personal account or your company’s data. You can use this option even if you cannot sign in or have uninstalled the app. Include the email address associated with your account and the company name, if known. Do not send your password. Before deleting a whole company we will confirm that the request comes from the account owner.

What is deleted

When the account owner confirms deletion in the app, the following are permanently deleted right away, with no waiting period:

• All company records: locations, rooms, equipment, work orders, inspections, recurring schedules, inventory, service requests, notes, settings and labor rates.
• All uploaded files: photos, equipment manuals and regulation documents.
• The company’s activity log.
• Every login on the company account, with each person’s name, email address and password.

Any active subscription is canceled at the same moment, and no further charges are made. If something interrupts the process, it finishes automatically within minutes. Copies of this data in our hosting provider’s routine database backups expire on their own within 7 days.

What is kept

• Billing records. Invoices and payment records (including the name and email on the billing account) are kept by our payment processor, Stripe, for as long as tax and accounting laws require. They are no longer linked to your deleted company.
• A deletion record containing no personal information — only the date and how many items were deleted — so we can confirm that the deletion took place.

Canceling is different from deleting

If you only cancel your subscription, our Privacy Policy applies: we keep your company’s data for 45 days so you can renew and return, and may permanently delete it afterward. Deleting your company account, as described above, does not wait — the data is erased immediately.
